Many countries have been declared areas of emergency due to the long civil wars and the recurring drought.

The long distance adoption seems to be one of the most effective means aimed at solving the problem of survival of a child and his family. This adoption consists in helping children of the Third World, though not uprooting them from their surroundings and introducing them into a cultural, social and family reality different to their own.

The roots are important, determining, ineradicable, therefore they have to be kept.

Whosoever adopts a child, takes the economic responsibility to cure, grow and educate the adopted child till he is old enough to start living his own life.
Fathers and nuns are the interlocutors, the guarantors, the intermediaries for the families of the adopted children. They assign the adoptions, keep the correspondence, send photos and news periodically to the adopters. They safely guarantee the means by which things are sent and received by the families of the children in need .
