The actual project, realized by GANDHI and CAPSE together, consists in integrating, as far as possible, the nourishment of the children with a great nutritive value that is milk.
The most simple and effective way to reach this goal is to provide the camp with as many cows needed to satisfy the daily requirements of the children. A cow can produce from 15 to 20 liters of milk daily, and to assure each child a cup of milk per day at least ten cows are needed. The cattle will graze in the meadows around the camp and will be looked after by one person chosen purposefully. This will allow the children to live independently from the external supplies of milk powder.
